Terms of use

In short

You may read, link to, share and quote our articles. You may not
republish full articles, scrape the site at high volume or claim our
content as your own. Images on the site come from multiple sources
with different licences; check the credit line before reusing one.

Use of the site

You access Minusumin as a reader, free of charge. By using the site
you agree to use it in good faith — that is, not to attempt to disrupt
it, overload it, harvest data from it at scale, circumvent its
security or impersonate the publication.

Content licence

Original Minusumin editorial content (the prose of our articles, the
editorial-team biographies, headlines and metadata) is published as
all rights reserved by Minusumin. You may:

  • read and share articles freely;
  • link to any page on the site;
  • quote short excerpts with attribution — name the publication
    ("Minusumin") and link to the article URL;
  • syndicate a piece only with prior written permission.

You may not:

  • republish full articles, in whole or in part beyond fair-use
    excerpting, without permission;
  • present our content as your own, with or without machine
    rewriting;
  • use our content as training data for AI models without permission.

Images

Article images on the site come from different sources, each with its
own licence:

  • AI-generated images — generated for the article by our pipeline.
    Treat as part of the article and follow the article licence above.
  • Wikipedia / Wikimedia Commons images — these display an explicit
    credit line at the bottom of the image with the author and the
    Creative Commons licence (e.g. CC BY-SA 4.0). To reuse such an
    image, follow the licence shown — typically you must credit the
    author and keep the same licence.
  • Press-release or wire-service images — credit line names the
    source; their own terms apply.

If you are unsure, ask via the contact page before
reusing.
